Physical Acting
Locations: NYC
Using Action Theater improvisation as a foundation, students will build the confidence to take expressive physical risks, broaden their emotive bandwidth, and reignite their creative instincts. Within clear parameters, we will play with abandon to refine an essential physical skillset, promoting sensitive, dynamic responses to partners and transmuting internal somatic impulses into an active, legible imagination. Additional modalities may include Viewpoints, Michael Chekhov Technique and Suzuki Method.
How to Apply for Part-Time Workshops:
1. New applicants should first submit an online application. Once we receive your application we will contact you to schedule your entrance interview appointment.

2. If you are a former student within the past two years, please check with classes@stellaadler.com as you might not need to submit a new application.
3. If you are applying for a course that requires an audition, please submit a video link to either a performance of a contemporary/realism monologue or a demo reel.
