Mario Gianni Herrera
Mario Gianni Herrera is a Latino-American actor and singer and a graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama. He began his training in musical theatre at the New Studio on Broadway, expanded his on-screen craft through Stonestreet Studios’ Film/TV Residency, and refined his technique at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
Mario’s artistic journey began at age eight with private voice lessons and grew into junior theatre, regional productions, film, and commercial throughout the Bay Area in California, where he was raised.
Most recently, he appeared in The Laramie Project at the Stella Adler Studio directed by Tom Oppenheim. He approaches every role with a commitment to truth, bringing characters to life with power, nuance, and conviction across stage and screen.
Notable roles include Artful Dodger in Oliver!, Jem in To Kill a Mockingbird, and Jose in the feature film The Ride.
