Malia Mooney

Malia Mooney is a classically trained actor and singer based in New York City. Originally from the Southern California coast, she was born to a family of artists, who led her to always cherish creativity. Due to her moms work, she traveled extensively around the globe. This gave her a worldly awareness of the complexities to the question that is: what does it mean to be human? 

In pursuit of this discovery, Malia decided she wanted to push herself to reach her highest potential as an artist. This brought her to New York. Now, she is a graduate of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Here, she tackled numerous challenging roles including Prospero in Shakespeare’s The Tempest, and Mattie Fae in August:Osage County. With a hunger for truth and deep love for the craft, Malia is ready to begin her professional journey, embracing work that challenges and transforms us.
