Johncarlo Zani

Johncarlo Zani hails from the Hudson Valley and will likely passionately remind you that just because his hometown of Poughkeepsie is north of NYC does not make it “upstate”— like seriously, you can drive for five (5!!) more hours north and still not leave New York. This is a hill he’s prepared to die on.

He recently made his off-off-Broadway debut at The Tank NYC, originating the role of ‘Jones’ in Failsafe by Philip Carroll. He’s beyond excited to reprise the role this August when it goes to the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

When not on stage, Johncarlo is a self-proclaimed nerd, always ready to clash swords and fisticuffs, or rally a party for a game of D&D. A proud graduate of the Stella Adler Studio, he leaves equipped to navigate the complexities of the human experience, shedding light on hidden truths through a kaleidoscope of characters.
