EJ Paras

EJ Paras is a Filipino-American actor based in NJ/NYC. As the son of hard-working Filipino immigrants, EJ was instilled with a strong work ethic as well as an inclination toward karaoke. He graduated college with a Marketing degree and works in social media strategy (his first professional acting jobs came from projects he developed on-the-job).

During the pandemic, he tended to his artistic needs by participating in numerous online writing competitions and a self-imposed film school by way of the Criterion Channel and Letterboxd. He volunteered at the New York Film Festival on their marketing and talent liaison teams. This gradual immersion into art made him want to explore it more deeply, leading him to write, produce, and act in short films with his friends.

He met an alumnus from the Stella Adler Studio at an Angie McMahon concert and registered for a summer workshop that night. The rest is history.
