Barry-Suzanne Collins

Barry-Suzanne is a New York City-based theatre maker most recently seen on stage in Tisch New Theater’s production of Fun Home as Helen Bechdel. Born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, Barry-Suzanne is an advocate for arts education and accessibility within the arts. She is passionate about telling stories that reflect her own life experiences, focusing on queer narratives and Black identity. Barry-Suzanne holds a BFA in Theatre from NYU Tisch, having completed three years of advanced actor training at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, and a minor in American Sign Language. Barry-Suzanne is working to pursue a career rich in truth and meaning, and is enthusiastic about the future of the arts for all.

Barry-Suzanne enjoys songwriting and expressing herself through makeup and fashion. Barry-Suzanne thrives in nature and can most likely be found hanging out with ducks at the Central Park duck pond when the sun is out.
