Originally from Brazil, Thiago is an actor, director and a certified Lucid Body teacher. He has taught the Lucid Body technique at the Yale School of Drama in 2013 and he is a current faculty member at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City. He was introduced to the Lucid Body technique while studying at the Michael Howard Studios, where he worked with, among others, Lucid Body creator Fay Simpson, whom he later assisted at Yale School of Drama and The Studio New York. Supporting his teaching skills he has nine years of experience in Reiki and three years in energy healing technique.

He is proud to be a co-founder of the only New York based Brazilian theater company, Group .BR, where he is currently co-directing the company’s second season of Infinite While it Lasts, being recently nominated for Outstanding movement and choreography at the New York Innovative Theater Awards. His most recent project as an actor is Leaving Theater, a Lucid Body Lab production surrounding the challenges of war veterans. Thiago also performed with members of New York’s Company XIV in Balm in Gilead by Lanford Wilson.
