Suzy PetchEam
- Director of Arts Justice Field Programs
A graduate of Pace University, with a BFA in Acting, Suzy currently serves as the Director of Arts Justice Field Programs at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. She appeared in productions of The Seagull, Taming of the Shrew, Company, and her own one woman show, Twinkie. She trains young actors in elementary, middle and high school, as well as leads a writing based arts education program on Rikers Island. She also provides a weekly Artistic Life Skills class at several drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers throughout New York City, including Phoenix House, Samaritan Daytop Village and Odyssey House. She currently serves as the Director of Outside/In, an arts re-entry program designed to serve those who are formerly incarcerated, recovering from substance use disorder and Veterans. She is a fierce advocate for her students and is dedicated to using the arts for the purpose of healing and nurturing humanity.
