Philip Charles MacKenzie is an award winning actor and director. He has acted with Al Pacino, Tom Hanks, Jerry Lewis, Christopher Guest, Andy Garcia, Lawrence Fishbourne, Pierce Brosnan, Sigourney Weaver, Bill Paxton, Michael J. Fox, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Kathy Bates, Kim Basinger, Ellen DeGeneres, and Jeff Goldblum, to name a few. He has directed Dan Ackroyd, Sandra Bullock, Chris Farley, Roseanne Barr, Jim Belushi, John Goodman, Shelley Winters, Jennifer Coolidge, Mary Steenburgen, David Hyde Pierce, Kelsey Grammer, Nathan Lane, Ted Danson, Brooke Shields, David Spade, Joely Fisher, George Lopez, Amanda Bynes, Demi Lovato, Henry Winkler, Stockard Channing, Bob Saget and Alison LaPlaca. After graduating with an MFA from the Tisch School of the Arts, Philip began working steadily in regional theatre, television, and feature film. After a big break on the Showtime series “Brothers” for which Philip won a Cable Ace Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, he transitioned into directing, receiving a Best Director nomination in the process. Philip became a full time director, directing such shows as “According to Jim”, “Roseanne”, “Frasier”, “George Lopez”, “Dharma and Greg”, “Suddenly Susan”, “My Wife and Kids”, “Normal, Ohio”, “Just Shoot Me”, “Ink”, and “Living in Captivity”.
