Joanne Linville
Joanne Linville (January 15, 1928) is a retired American film and television actress. Linville and actress Irene Gilbert co-founded the Stella Adler Academy of Acting in Los Angeles in 1985. Linville has appeared in films including The Goddess, Scorpio, Gable and Lombard, A Star Is Born, and The Seduction.
In 1959, Linville appeared on the long-running CBS daytime drama “The Guiding Light” as Amy Sinclair. In 1968, she played the Romulan commander in the “Star Trek” episode “The Enterprise Incident”.
Other television appearances include “Decoy”, “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”, “Have Gun Will Travel”, “The Twilight Zone”, “Empire, Route 66”, “The Eleventh Hour”,” I Spy”, “Bonanza”, “The Fugitive”, “The F.B.I.”, “Hawaii Five-O”, “Kojak”, “Columbo: Candidate for Crime”, “Nakia”, “Switch”, “Charlie’s Angels”, “CHIPS”, “Mrs. Columbo”, “Dynasty”, and “L.A. Law”. Linville also appeared in the made-for-TV movies House on Greenapple Road, Secrets, The Critical List, The Users, and The Right of the People.
