James Toback
James Toback is a graduate of the Stella Adler Teen Conservatory, a former intern with the administrative office at the Stella Adler Studio, and a veteran FOH manager across the Northeast, from Boston to Radio City. Currently employed by the New York Department of Sanitation as a records clerk and mascot performer, James’ key interests with the Council involve financial literacy and affordable housing/tenant’s rights. His hope for alumni is to know their rights as performers and residents of New York. His hope for the City is for middle class housing and for the New York Liberty (who he’s been following since age 6) to win a Championship. “While semi-retired from performing and running FOH, I’m proud to give back to Adler, the first place to force me out of my comfort zone, which led to true growth as a person”.
