James Coburn
James Harrison Coburn (August 31, 1928 – November 18, 2002) was an American actor who was featured in more than 70 films and 145 television appearances in his 45-year career. For many, Coburn was the perfect tough guy in numerous lead and supporting films such as The Magnificent 7 (1960), Hell is for Heroes (1962), The Great Escape (1963), Charade (1963), Our Man Flint (1966) an action flick that parodies the Bond series, In Like Flint (1967) sequel to Our Man Flint, and Cross of Iron (1977).
In 1997 he was nominated for the Academy Awards Best Supporting Actor for his role of Glen Whitehouse in Affliction.
