DC Pierson is an author, actor, and comedian. He co-wrote and co-starred in the feature comedy Mystery Team, which premiered at Sundance and is being remastered and reissued by Lionsgate. He was a founding member of the sketch group DERRICK Comedy along with fellow Hammerkatz alumni Donald Glover, Dominic Dierkes and Dan Eckman, whose videos have more than a billion views online. He received the Junior Library Guild’s ALEX Award for his novel “Crap Kingdom.” He’s been a head writer and staff writer on the MTV VMAs and other award shows, working with hosts like Nikki Glaser, Kevin Hart, Key & Peele, and Sebastian Manascalco.
