Andrew Thomas
Andrew F. Thomas is an attorney at Carr & Ferrell LLP where he advises start-ups and video companies on how to build a business based on intellectual property. Andrew represents a variety of companies developing cutting-edge technology and entertainment. Before joining Carr & Ferrell, he worked as a research intern for Banner & Witcoff, staying abreast of new developments in video game law, researching nuances of IP as it applies to video games, and writing blog posts for PatentArcade.com. Andrew graduated with honors from American University Washington College of Law where he studied the intersection of IP and entertainment. Before attending law school, Andrew earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. He worked for four years on a variety of film and television sets in New York City, including Martin Scorsese’s “Vinyl.” Andrew also produced the short film “Spiders,” a 2016 Festival de Cannes selected short film.
