Alice Saltzman

Alice Saltzman is the Co-Head of Acting at the Stella Adler Studio. She began studying with Stella Adler at the age of 17, attending New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts on full scholarship, the National Shakespeare Conservatory, Naropa Institute and at Oxford UK, studying with Earle Gister and Maria Aitken.
Theater credits include A Phoenix Too Frequent and Clubhouse Rules at Verse Theater Manhattan, The Last Seder at New Dramatists, Voices Carry and Horsefeathers at New Jersey Rep, Drood at the Forum Theater, Radium Girls at the Lark Theater, NYC. A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Importance of Being Earnest, Blithe Spirit, Twelfth Night, The Tempest, A Child’s Christmas in Wales, Dark of the Moon, and The Skin of Our Teeth at The Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey. Twilight and The Last Seder at the Playwrights Theater of N.J. Most recently, Alice can be seen in Airwick’s “Give the Gift of Home” commercial and Will Sullivan’s film The Ring Thing.
Directing credits include: Voices from the Shelter with the Winn Atkins Theater Project, The Raw and the Cooked at the Hallie Flanigan Play Series: Women at Wings Theater.
Ms. Saltzman has taught at NYU, Drew University, and has been on the faculty at Stella Adler Studio of Acting since 2001.
