The Studio Series Pathway - Stella Adler Studio of Acting

A progressive course of study for part-time actor training.

Every actor’s journey is unique, and not every path includes full-time conservatory training. The Studio Series Pathway offers a structured sequence of workshops designed to provide a comprehensive foundation in the Stella Adler Studio’s approach through flexible part-time study. Each series builds upon the last, allowing students to progress through a thoughtfully curated workshop curriculum while balancing work, school, or other commitments. Students have the flexibility to complete their training at a pace that reflects their availability, goals, and individual artistic journey.

Studio Series I: Core Actor Training

Complete ten essential workshops designed to establish a strong foundation in acting technique, voice, movement, scene study, Shakespeare, improvisation, and on-camera performance.

Upon completion, students receive a “Studio Series I Certificate of Completion” and become eligible for Studio Series II.

Classes taken as part of the Evening Introductory Program or Weekend Introductory Program count towards Studio Series I.

Studio Series II: Advanced Actor Training

Expand and refine your artistry through advanced training in technique, scene study, voice, physical acting, Shakespeare, and performance for camera.

Upon completion, students receive an “Studio Series II Advanced Certificate of Completion.”

How to Apply for Part-Time Workshops:

1. New applicants should first submit an online application. Once we receive your application we will contact you to schedule your entrance interview appointment.

2. If you are a former student within the past two years, please check with classes@stellaadler.com as you might not need to submit a new application.

3. If you are applying for a course that requires an audition, please submit a video link to either a performance of a contemporary/realism monologue or a demo reel.
